*** Please note: COMPETE-AT Registration requires the user sign up for PayPal in order to make a payment using a credit card. Anyone who does not want to use PayPal can send a check to LHYC although we would prefer they set up a PayPal account an pay directly (look for a check box on the Compete-At payment page). Below is some info on why they/we are using PayPal for transactions and why it might not be a bad idea to sign up for paypal:

PCI Compliance and Security - PayPal has the best in the world. They currently process 35% of all eCom transactions in the world. Also the laws for PCI compliance changed at the beginning of the year and have made most small organizations and companies non compliant.
